Alright so Im flying out tomorrow to go to be in IL for my husbands graduation on Friday. Im going up two days early so that i can look at places for us to live when i move up there in a couple of weeks. This should all be be very interesting. More updates next week.
Wow! Congrats on being a new Navy wife. I'm a retired Navy wife (21 years for me, 23 years for my husband). Make sure you utilize what the Navy has to offer..housing for one. If you don't qualify for military housing, then go to the relocation office and have them help you with finding a place to live. Also - since you all are brand spanking new, you probably qualify for some kind of welcome aboard package...might be worth checking into at the Navy Marine Corp Relief Society office. Plus - don't forget about Operation Homefront, they are there to help you make ends meet and keep you informed. Use the Military One Source website as well. Have fun -- life is what you make of it, so make it an adventure with Christ at the helm! :)
